Education & Career

After earning my degree in Finance and Marketing from the University of Maryland, I began my career in corporate accounting before moving into finance and accounting recruiting in Los Angeles. After returning to the East Coast, I took time to raise my family and completed my MBA while working in continuing education. These experiences provided me with a deeper understanding of the financial decisions and tradeoffs people face at different stages of life and reinforced my belief in the value of thoughtful planning and objective financial guidance.

Joining One Day In July

I was drawn to One Day In July because of its commitment to acting as a fiduciary for every client, all the time. I was also amazed at how this Vermont-based firm had grown from $30 million to over $1 billion in assets under management in 10 years. I wanted to learn everything and was fortunate to spend my first year supporting two of the firm’s longest tenured financial advisors. The firm's focus on clients’ best interests, value, tax efficiency, and culture of integrity and continuous learning closely align with my own values. As an advisor, I collaborate with our investment team to develop personalized investment strategies and help clients understand the rationale behind our recommendations.

More About Me

I live in Shelburne, Vermont. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cheering on our teams, walking the beautiful trails, and strength training. I serve on the Shelburne Water Commission, and volunteer as a board member of SCHIP, an organization that supports the residents of Shelburne, Charlotte, and Hinesburg through community grants.
