Lifespan & Legacy

With both a private foundation or donor-advised fund (DAFs), a donor can pass along their charitable mission throughout generations and leave a legacy with an unlimited lifespan. In addition, either vehicle can involve a donor's children or heirs in philanthropy and provide an educational element by exposing those people to the process driving each initiative.
